Our quality control program (QCP) is a methodology by which the Company conducts internal self-monitoring to assure the medical treatment facility (MTF) and the contracting officer representative (COR) that Mindseeker’s medical coding is meeting or exceeding the established performance objectives and acceptable quality levels (AQL). Mindseeker updates the QCP as necessary and provides the QCP to the COR, if applicable.

Mindseeker’s certified (AHIMA / AAPC) auditors are seasoned and average more than 10 years’ experience auditing Department of Defense (DoD) medical records and are extremely experienced with all pertinent DoD Directives to include the Military Health System (MHS) Coding Guidelines and DoD Instruction 6040.42, and Management Standards for Medical coding of DoD Health Records. Auditors also maintain expertise in Commercial Industry References, International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision, Clinical Modification / (ICD-10-CM), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), 4th Edition or most current edition, and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS).
